Does Honda make station wagons?

Honda does not currently offer a station wagon in its global lineup. In some markets in the past, Honda did provide wagon-style models such as the Civic Tourer in Europe and the Fit Shuttle in Japan, and a wagon variant under its Acura luxury division in the United States; today, Honda’s focus is on SUVs, crossovers, and sedans/hatchbacks rather than traditional station wagons.

Current lineup and wagon availability

Here is a snapshot of Honda’s present model lineup in major markets and whether any wagon body style is offered under the Honda badge.

  • CR-V — compact crossover with flexible cargo space

  • HR-V — smaller crossover

  • Pilot — three-row family SUV

  • Passport — midsize two-row SUV

  • Ridgeline — unibody pickup with practical cargo space

  • Odyssey — minivan

  • Civic — available as a sedan and, in some markets, a hatchback

  • Accord — midsize sedan

  • Insight — hybrid sedan/hatchback

As of today, there is no Honda-badged station wagon available in the United States or most other markets; cargo practicality is addressed via crossovers, SUVs, and other body styles.

Historical wagon offerings by Honda (regional)

Europe — Civic Tourer

In Europe, Honda offered the Civic Tourer, an estate (wagon) version of the Civic designed to provide extra cargo space while maintaining a compact footprint. This model was linked to the 9th-generation Civic family and served regional demand for a wagon-style Honda vehicle. It is not part of the current global lineup.

  • Civic Tourer — estate version of the Honda Civic (Europe)

Today, Honda no longer markets a Civic Tourer in the European lineup, as the brand has shifted emphasis toward SUVs and crossovers.

Japan — Fit Shuttle (Jazz Shuttle)

Japan saw the Fit Shuttle, a wagon variant of the Jazz (Fit) wagon that provided extra cargo space within Honda’s subcompact lineup. The Shuttle family appealed to buyers needing more practicality in a small footprint. The model was discontinued in Japan as generations progressed.

  • Fit Shuttle (Jazz Shuttle) — wagon version of the Honda Fit/Jazz (Japan)

The Fit Shuttle is not part of Honda’s current production in Japan or globally, reflecting a broader industry pivot away from conventional wagons in favor of crossovers.

United States — Acura TSX Sport Wagon

In the United States, Honda’s wagons appeared under Acura, its luxury marque. The TSX Sport Wagon offered a wagon body style based on the TSX sedan and provided a practical alternative for buyers seeking cargo space. Acura has since shifted its lineup, and the TSX-based wagon is no longer in production.

  • Acura TSX Sport Wagon — wagon variant of the TSX (Honda’s luxury division, US)

Although related to Honda’s product universe, the wagon was not a Honda-badged model in the current lineup and is no longer sold today.

Summary

Across its global markets, Honda has largely moved away from station wagon bodies in favor of SUVs, crossovers, and other practical configurations. While historical wagon options existed in Europe (Civic Tourer), Japan (Fit Shuttle), and the US (Acura TSX Sport Wagon), none are part of Honda’s current offerings. For buyers seeking Honda practicality today, the focus remains on crossovers like the CR-V and Pilot, or sedans/hatchbacks where available by market.
